Travel to Milano

Milan is served by three airports which are connected with all the main cities around the world.

  • – Milano-Malpensa. It is located about 55 minutes far from the downtown which can be reached by taxi, train (see Malpensa Express for the details) or bus (ticket on-board; less expensive than the train  and about the same travel time).  Both train and bus stop at the two main train stations where you find many city buses and the underground.
  • – Orio al Serio. It is the main airport for low-cost companies. It is located abut 45 minutes fon the downtown which can be reached by taxi or bus. In Milano the bus stops at the Train Central Station.
  • – Milano Linate. It is the city airport. Taxi and bus to the city center. By bus, the travel to the Train Central Stations takes about 25 minutes.

If you land in Rome, Naples or Venice you can use the high-speed trains FRECCIA ROSSA or ITALO to reach Milano Centrale Station or Milano Cadorna (about 3 hours far from ROME). High-speed trains connect Milano to the main European cities too.
